Mission Statement

The mission of the Michigan Accelerators Track Club in association with the United States Track and Field Association and the Amateur Athletic Union is to promote the development of young downriver children in the areas of track and field as well as life skills which will help them become productive contributing members of society.

 

Club Philosophy

Our track and field program provides a grass-root philosophy of “It Takes A Village To Raise A Child”.  We want to assist in the development of our children, not only the necessary tools needed for track and field skills but life skills and values such as teamwork, family virtues, diversity, leadership skills and just plain fun.  Together, as coaches, parents and the community we can experience growth and potential in track and field.
